Predicted for several months now, we are delighted to announce the arrival of the Maketis Easy Module Underground Modules. This new module will be part of a complete range that complements our existing Easy Module range. It's a real innovation that modellers have been waiting for, and has never been offered on the market before. We are delighted to present you with an outline of this new range.

A New Standard for Model Railroading

Our lower modules are designed to integrate seamlessly with your existing modules from the Maketis Easy Module range, while offering you unprecedented scope for customisation and expansion. Here are the benefits and features of these innovative modules in detail:

• Perfect adaptability:The lower modules are specifically designed to fit without any modification on existing modules from the Easy Module Maketis range. For example, the first lower module to be sold will be the 118x59cm module, which will fit models MOD50000, MOD51000 and MOD53000. This compatibility ensures rapid, seamless integration into your existing network. Subsequently, almost all module variants will be available in a lower module (59 or 29.5cm deep)
  
  
  
• Easy height adjustment: Thanks to a simple and effective fixing and adjustment system, you can easily adjust the height of the lower module in relation to the floor or your 0-level module. Whether you want to create a hidden station, a pull-out or even a second network with full decoration, these modules offer maximum flexibility to meet all your needs.

• Simplified installation: Our modules come with a complete set of brackets, robust fixings, as well as a connection kit and full screws and bolts. This installation kit guarantees easy and reliable installation, even for novice modellers. Each component is designed to ensure exceptional stability and durability.

• Preserving modularity: The lower modules are designed to connect to each other on all sides, ensuring existing or future modularity. This makes it easy to extend and customise your network.

• Optimising space: Increase the surface area of your model train layout without having to expand your room. By adding lower modules, you can expand your layout in height, maximising the use of your available space intelligently and efficiently.

• Easy installation: Once the lower modules have been assembled and glued, installation is simplified thanks to an ingenious insertion system on the horizontal support bar. This method ensures quick and safe installation, allowing modellers to concentrate on creating rather than building.

• Enhanced security: To prevent accidental dislodging, we've added "anti-ejection" tabs to be screwed on at the end of installation. This extra precaution ensures that your network remains intact and secure, even after long sessions of use.

• Exceptional robustness: Once installed on their brackets, the lower modules stand out for their incredible robustness. Designed to withstand heavy loads and resist wear and tear, they ensure the longevity of your model railway network.

• Range extension: To offer even more customisation options, lower modules will soon be available for all depths in the range, including 59 cm and 29.5 cm. This extension will enable modellers to explore new configurations and carry out even more ambitious projects.

• Easy assembly and disassembly: The lower module is easy to assemble and disassemble, allowing the installation of turnout motors or indeed your electrification. Designed as a real module, it has windows for internal and external cable routing to conceal them.

• Preparing for future projects: With this lower module, Maketis will later be able to offer its spiral ramp connectable to level 0 and lower modules.
