HO scale (1/87) handling machine designed by Haxo Modèles. This metal and injected plastic model is made up of a large number of super-cutting parts (delivered with a lifting beam for frames, fitted with real metal chains and their hooks) and is a very faithful reproduction of the M2 type Griffet crane made by the yellow SOTRAMA company in the 50s/60s/70s.
There are 3 versions in this first series (Déco SNCF two-tone, Déco SNCF green and yellow stripe and Ets Somatra yellow).
Attention limited series!
The actual model:
The Griffet M2 crane was commonly used in goods yards or near an SNCF goods hall to handle frames and containers, and played an important role in the development of intermodal transport in France. It could be found on many SNCF sidings and terminals, as well as at haulage firms such as SERNAM and CALBERSON.
The miniature model:
Route 87 proposes a great new feature, in the guise of the famous 1/87 scale Griffet cranes in injected plastic, assembled, painted and decorated ready for use.
Limited series only. These cranes will not be reissued with the same decorations.
We appreciate the high level of detail:
