We recommend decorating all elements separately before installation. The metal parts can be burnished with our burnisher 9221 to give the base colour and make it easier for the paint to adhere if necessary.
This knocker can be left in its natural colour, i.e. rust and wood, or painted white with the crossbar in red if it is in an area visible to the public such as a railway station.
