This model is of a "modern" type, corresponding to the IVth and following eras, and it has been fitted to all kinds of equipment such as wagons, passenger carriages and part of motor vehicles since the 1970s; it differs from the Decapod DP1250 reference (the "old" type) in terms of the tensioner.

The kit includes the nickel silver castings, the stainless steel wire springs and a piece of round brass profile 0.5 mm diameter: you can fit 3 couplers, whose functionality you will appreciate thanks to the spring to be installed behind the load crossbar.
Decapod has had these stainless steel wire springs made to its own specifications to perfectly meet the needs of model builders. Do-it-yourselfers will also be able to use them under the reference DP1249.

Liquid welding is very suitable for assembly without the risk of spilling the parts; for decoration, a burnishing coat may sometimes be sufficient, if not conventional paint. A touch of oil should not be forgotten to ensure proper operation for amateurs who drive and tow with this equipment.
