Here is a reference where Decapod has taken all its care to offer you a "haute couture" model particularly faithful to the original.
This model is of an "old" type, corresponding to Eras I to IV and it equipped all kinds of equipment such as wagons, passenger carriages and parts of engines until about the 1970s, before the latter were equipped with a "modern" coupling with a different tensioner corresponding to our future reference DP1251.
The kit includes the nickel-silver castings, the stainless steel wire springs and a piece of round brass profile 0.5 mm diameter: you will be able to fit 3 couplers, whose perfectly functional character you will appreciate thanks to the spring to be installed behind the load crossbar.
We have had these stainless steel wire springs made to our specifications to perfectly meet our model builders' needs; do-it-yourselfers will also be able to use them under the reference DP1249.
Liquid welding is ideal for assembly without the risk of spilling the parts. For decoration, a coat of burnisher may sometimes be sufficient, otherwise Decapod solvent acrylic paints will be a real handful. Don't forget a touch of oil to ensure proper functioning for amateurs who drive and tow with this equipment.
