This type of buffer has been fitted to most SNCF locomotives since Era IV, either as original equipment or as a replacement for an older type.
This model is produced in a brass foundry and is both thin and solid. Its level of detail is quite simply unheard of on this scale.
Its tenon is designed for LSM material: simply remove the plastic previous one and insert the Decapod stamp. Other uses are possible, to be considered on a case-by-case basis.
