This is a reference that we felt was singularly missing! The drawing will no doubt enlighten you, it is about the underground descents, with their stairs and handrails, typical of our SNCF platforms. This particularly simple kit combines finesse and solidity and will enable you to make two examples of underground descents to go from one platform to another. As a reminder, this simple arrangement is actually found in reality, but also descents arranged in pairs, with the two staircases facing each other to reach the same underground corridor.
Each of the DP2630 references will allow you to choose either the Batignolles type railing (same design as the eponymous railing reference DP2840) or a more modern railing such as the DP2842 reference.
Designed in brass, a simple folding set and a few welds will allow you to obtain a realistic and conforming model, with a descending staircase that goes down deeply for those who wish to refine the installation of this accessory. It is not very complicated to install a light at the bottom of this companionway.
As there are many questions about the size, the side plans should help you to study the installation of these platform descents on your networks.
