Decapod continues its civil accessories with this South-East staple, but not only! Namely, here, the Bayard fountain.
There are several versions, we propose you the fountain with button (name due to the mechanism to make water flow).
The Bayard company was founded at the beginning of the 20th century in Lyon, the first fountain having been patented in 1901. These fountains can be found mainly in public places around Lyon and Grenoble, but also, for example, on the platforms of railway stations on the line linking Grenoble to Veynes-Dévoluy (the model we used as an example is in the centre of Veynes); they can also be found in Paris (Jardin Frédéric-Dard or Montmartre). It can therefore be installed anywhere!
Since October 2020, this model has been produced in 3D printing, in a particularly fine but resistant resin, equipped with a base with a photo-etched grid.
The fountain and the grid are in fact regularly painted green.
