Liquid solder (100 g) Decapod 9207

A tin and lead alloy, Decapod liquid solder is ideal for the assembly of models in brass, nickel silver, arcap, copper, bronze... It contains its own flux, of organic type, so you can use it alone without worries.

However, if you want to make it a little more liquid, or if you plan to keep the same pot for a very long time after having started it, you just have to add a little flux Ref. DP9201 to obtain or regain the desired viscosity.

You will appreciate the generous packaging (100 grams), in a wide base jar that will not spill.

Liquid solder, instructions for use :

Stir for a long time before use, until the consistency resembles a thick pancake batter; as the batter will redeposit naturally, do not omit to stir from time to time during the work session. The liquid solder can be diluted, if it becomes too thick, by adding a little flux Ref. DP9201.

To assemble 2 parts, spread a little liquid solder on each part with a toothpick or a small brush to tin them; once the two parts are in place, place a dot or a trickle of liquid solder at the assembly point with a toothpick or a small brush as you would place a dot or a trickle of glue; pass the hot iron through, the solder will immediately run by capillary action due to its great fluidity.

It is the perfect product for welding that must be solid and very thin, for the assembly of our catenary poles for example, for assembling signals etc...
