The special thinner of the phosphate primer Ref. DP8004

The primer Ref. DP8004 Decapod is delivered undiluted and must be diluted for airbrush spraying. It is best to decant a small part of it into an empty pot and add the thinner: 2 parts to 1 part of primer is a good base.
Note that you can push the dilution without risk of killing the qualities of the primer, which does not need to be covering to be effective. If you add a steel ball to homogenise the mixture, be careful not to leave it in prolonged storage. The primer is phosphatic and slightly acidic and its qualities would be diminished.
NB: this thinner is also compatible with solvent-based acrylics but should be used with caution, as over-thinning may damage the paint.
