To introduce this video, we would like to inform you about the condition we needed to realise it.
10 railroad profiles ref MQ460-51/3 in scale H0/TT and with 1 meter length have been simply put on 3 flat cars Trix type RS and 1 flat car Brawa type Rmms. The both sides of cars were put vertically in order to maintain the loading
The layout is personnal and it's a point-to-point version with curved track under 600 mm radius.
These are the results after many pulling or pushing tests :
- No derailment during the test
- No profils was falling down or passed over the car.
- No tilting of a car
- The locomotive didn't seem to be braked.
So this is a very good news for the modellers who wants to realise a perfect loading of long ribbon rails on rail cars. They can also realise a small renewall track infrastructure !
NB : Be careful, we need to test a running with double curved track under 400 mm radius and with helical ascention.
