These buildings are particularly common on railway rights-of-way.

These buildings are contemporary with the major electrification of the 1950s and the complete revival of signalling that generally accompanied them. They are used to equip the many items of equipment required for the operation of the automatic light block; a wide variety of them can be found throughout the SNCF network.

The large building is based on a model seen in Narbonne, while the smaller one is the product of Decapod's imagination, in the pure concrete style of these constructions. This makes for a coherent whole that you can, for example, have on either side of a railway station.

Of course, these buildings, which cannot be standardised any more, can be used anywhere in France. You will appreciate the finish and the ease of assembly of these two buildings. Decapod has opted for a medium construction with different thicknesses for the main parts. The frames are of an original design, with no equivalent on the market; they are made on the one hand from laserboard engraved and laser-cut, and on the other hand from a novel assembly of laserboard and very high quality adhesives: the final result is obtained by assembling several thicknesses which will give particularly realistic relief parts with an unequalled finish and precision (see the instructions).
